Hirono-yu (広の湯) is located in Minami-Nagasaki at 8 minutes’ walk from Shiinamachi station and 9 minutes from Higashi-Nagasaki（Seibu Ikebukuro line）.The area is well-known because of the famous mangaka Osamu Tezuka and Fujiko Fujio (Doraemon) who lived there.

The facilities
You can find many kinds of baths :
Relaxing bath, massage bath, electric bath, aromatic bath and cold bath. There is also a very unique feature: all the showers are individually separated to let people having privacy.

Design
The first time you will lay your eyes on the cloak room’s design you might be very surprised.
It reminds me baroque period. Deep blue mural with gold mirrors and green plants.
It creates an uncommon and very elegant atmosphere, different from the typical sento we are used to see. We can also admire framed paintings here and there, which contribute to this Renaissance surrounding.
